Kids in their 30's still at home with parents
Ok my partners son is 33, looks like he ain't going anywhere fast.

Good news is she is now beginning to realise this isn't right lol

Any ideas on how to move this situation along without just packing his shit up and throwing him out?

open to all ideas to cheer me up

Is it the norm nowadays for 30+ still living at home ?

Too old to be moving out with his mates.

You basically need to find him a girl that wants to marry him and settle down...or start charging enough rent that he's be better off moving out/he's paying enough youd be happy for him to stay.

Find out what the commercial rent rate is, tell him he's an adult and it's time to live like one, and that means paying full rent and bill contributions.

Anyway, serious advice - just be in his bed when he comes home from time to time.

Probably best suggestion, but since the OP used the word 'partner' it could be the dad.

Who cares. Not for me but our parents aren't around forever so good luck to families that stay close.

Mate of mine just sold his house for an absolute fortune lucky him I thought but then I realised he had to live at home til he was 30 to be able to buy it!
